The hits are going down. So i think it's time to blog before everybody gives up on reading my blog. LOL.

Wassup with me, you'd wonder. Busy lohs. School work and all. Not enough sleep and gastric probs. Sigh.

I've just did my 1st professionally recorded song with The Label. Thanks to Jessel and team for the wonderful song (: It's for the compilation album put together by them. At first it was to be distributed in stores in Singapore (yes i mean HMV and the other stores). But it might not be sold due to some probs. But if it is distributed pls buy and support kay? (:

There's an interesting drink that got discovered in our school's co-op (convenience store)

枇杷蜜 (pi pa mi)。 It's a drink made from the famous 枇杷膏 (pi pa gao) and water. damn cool la~ it's a must drink for ppl who are singing (: i drank it during my recording. maybe i can bring some to my dear chord in apr :X

Another discovery... my mom brought a coconut. And it has agar-agar in it. New invention mans... Tastes pretty good though. The agar agar absorbed the flavour of the coconut. Not bad for a person like me who don't really like the taste of the coconut flesh. (:

My NDS got into a coma and I had to send him to the doctor. He's been there under supervision. Hope that he'll get well soon! ^^

Another year has passed.
i'm in my 3rd year of poly education, which is ending in a few months.
i've written quite a few songs from Apr 07 till now...
i've improved a lot in my journalistic writing
i've improved a lot in my singing
i've improved a lot in my song writing

i noe it's pretty cliche, but i'd like to join in the fun of listing down new year resolutions. (:

buy a new keyboard. my epiano is seriously dying ):
score well for my last semester and get a good overall gpa
be able to enter local uni
be able to get recognition for my songs
to let more people hear my works
be able to secure a job after i graduate
be able to not worry about my school fees and all
be able to go Taiwan next Apr successfully
to stay healthy and happy
for my family to be healthy and happy
for all my friends to be healthy and happy
and to stop spending Valentine's day with my da (to spend it with someone else^^)

i think that's about all.. actually the list goes on... but i think, that should be enought for me (:
one can never stop asking for more...

Before i start on my emo post, I'd like to have a shoutout saying that i enjoyed myself very much at the kbox-ing session tdy. Hope you guys have enjoyed it as much as i did too! (:

There are some things that can have a total different meaning when you just change a very puny thing. Let's have some examples.

我不会唱歌 (it's also 2 song titles by Judy 周定纬 and SHOW罗志祥; diff song okays.)

it's just 1 character and it makes so much difference.

some ppl say that my voice is not special enough.
it's not attention grabbing enough.

其实禹哲在新加坡的签场会还蛮多人的，虽然当时看起来并不像有那么多。。。

Danson's really sweet, he would whip out his handphone or camera and start to take shots of him and the fans/crowds. Seems like it's a good way to curry flavour the fans. I rmb someone else did that too. Can't rmb who though. Haaa.

明道！！

freda recommend me this show 櫻野3加1, starring 明道,陈乔恩，黄志伟and许孟哲.

she's started long ago but still at episode 5, while i chiong finish the whole 16 episodes in a few days. :P

i din watch the 星苹果乐园 which 明道 also played in it. after watching 櫻野3加1, it brought back the memories when i was crazy over him... hahaa..

i think it started off with 天国的嫁衣， where he was a supporting role, a super MAN biker.
then there's 王子变青蛙, where he's this charming and rich prince who lost his memory and became a super cute but stupid 'frog'.
then there's this super 夸张爱情魔发师, he played as the top hairstylist in the top salon.

and i rmb that he's everywhere at that point of time. i even did a wallpaper for my desktop on him. it's tat hilarious till our dear meimei even bought me a poster-measuringtape which featured him as my birthday present. lol. tat was in year one btw.

how time flies. now we're in year 3, and he's has so much acomplishments alrdy. woots

although qing says he's not handsome, but i still think that he's cute and hot. haaa (:

ystd we went to this Korean restaurant at Excelsior Hotel. it's called Awon Korean Restaurant. It's famous for it's BBQ & Steamboat (:

it's a very homely place, compared to the Jeong one opposite Haw Par Villa. you'd want to sit with a huge table of family and friends and chat over the delicious steamboat. the soup base's great, so are the meat (: price's affordable, around $21 per pax after a 20% discount (:

someone wanted me to go to this auto with her. if not i might be standing in the media box taking really gd photos. :X
but still, i enjoyed myself apart from the horrendous queue (actually there was none) and many many other things else.

the autograph session was really slow, cos the company's really nice to let Danson sign each fan's name on every album, and each fan made full use of their time to talk to the pretty-boy celebrity.
the dj host was being very kind to not bother us with her voice to help promote the event and to encourage the fans to not push and queue orderly. she was very nice to not help to control the swarming crowd that's breaking out into riots within the flimsy barricades.
i've nv screamed (at ppl) at an autograph session for quite some time already. but i let my voice do the dirty work again ystd for the fanclub kept parading their (not-very-well-made) boards up high, blocking everybody's view of the stage. they obediently lowered their boards when i screamed, which was to everybody's shock when i did so. wahhahahaha (: i'm a seasoned old bird fan okays~

well i almost died in the mosh pit (the 'queue') and my dear qinghui and wendy just went outta and admire him from a distance. lol.
and i've gotten more muscles from taking pics, with my cam held super duper high. Danson must be wondering why he saw a camera, an arm, but no head. =.=

New Taiwanese drama coming up! Starring Hebe from SHE, Mike He and Lee Wei.

Well, I didn't hear about this drama beforehand, probably I wasn't paying much attention to SHE and stuff, but it's pretty interesting to see this combination of celebrities coming together for this drama.

I've watched the slides-videos done by our fellow drama fans. Honestly speaking, the pictures from the filming of the drama doesn't seem to appeal to me very much. And the background of the scenes resembles those of X-Family/ and KO ONE.

one of my faithful fans of my blog feedback to me that she's been stalking my blog only be disappointed to find that there are no updates. to reward you for your faithfulness, i shall blog now. haa. excuses. i'm trying to vent some air before i go crazy writing articles >.<

just did the movie review for HERO, still editing it.
struggling to get A-mei's concert review done.

these 2 articles are enuff to kill me. although i'm reaching my quota for articles soon, but i think i wanna do more. or rather, i don't mind doing more. cos 1: i'll get to meet more celebs, 2: i can write more and choose the best 6 (cos my writing really suck, wonder why am i doing journ).

and my ENERGY CD review article just came back. it needs a hell lot of editing. and i need to find out the official translation for the CD tracks. faith told me something damn interesting, but damn irresponsible of a journalist.

A 8Days reporter/journalist wrote "Born With Reverse Bones" for ENERGY's latest album 天生反骨. Btw the official translation's BORN TO BE BAD, not some reverse bone shit =.= I think if it's a part-timer prolly it wun be that bad, but if it's a full-time journalist i bet he/she'd get sacked man!!

Now you know why i did not give English translations for the titles. I don't want to (accidentally) commit such stupid mistakes (i hope i won't).

I went for a drums workshop at Fusion X Music today.
The workshop's really informative and interesting, learn a lot more about drums today. The trainer was cool too (: I'm really interested in drums, even considering taking up proper and formal classes. But i think it's all gotta wait already....

If you think that all my singing and songs writing are just fantasies of a star-struck teenage girl then you're probably wrong. Like what a friend said, I'm a very realistic person and i can tell what's a dream and what's something you can make a living outta it.

I may like singing and composing but it's not like i have to be an artiste or something. Others just tend to stereotype and label people as 'star-stuck' or having a 明星梦. But there are people who really liked music and liked what they are doing, regardless if they make it big or not.

People like me.

I shared my experience today and thoughts with my fellow 'musicians', and we all felt so stopped and saddened. You probably won't know how it feels. Or you might. Who knows...

Guess most of my friends would know that i'm pretty much into rock music now. Although i can't really play the drums well and have no electric guitar to bother my neighbours with, i still like to write (try and write) rock music..

Then i came across this guy, he plays the electric guitar relatively well, considering that he picked it up on his own! And if you've heard my songs and you reckon that the quality's not bad, try listening his. It's almost like professional studio quality sound!

Sometimes, a new haircut or new clothes does make a very big difference. In order to make my hair seem like it's growing, I restrained myself from visiting my hairstylist for around 3 months. Until I saw Angela Chang's hairstyle in Romantic Princess (公主小妹)...

I don't know if you can tell, actually she has a shoulder length bob. So the long curls are extensions. That's what I wanted. Top bob, bottom long curls. But everybody that I told my idea too asked me if I wanted Rainie Yang's "jellyfish head" (水母头).

And my hair's CURLY. It won't look like her jellyfish head, please.

I Declare War on the Huge Red Ant Colony

Btw today I spent $14 buck to cab back to school for PRESCHI, (pronounced as "Press-Chi", Chi for Chi-nese). (Note: I seldom cab to school). Considering the fact that i wouldn't have time for dinner and would be late for class, but the main reason i cabbed to school was that i was being attacked by a colony of enormous red ants. And i really mean HUGE ones, bigger than 1cm each. You can easily see their stick-like legs and their 3-parts-body. The more you wanna get it off you, the harder it bites and clings onto you. The story goes like this...

The workers are cutting down the trees by the bustop, and i presume that the trees were infected with colonies of HUGE red ants. Hence when the trees are cut, the ants had to 'evacuate' and kinda spread out on the pavements and the bustop. It was only after i passed the patch of 'evacuation field' that the reds on the floor were not colour pigments but ANTS! I found one crawling on my skinnies and i hit it off. But they're not detered. One came and bit me on my left shoulder. More came and attacked my feet. They weren't stupid you know. They ambushed in the folds of my skinnies (it was too long and i din alter it) and attacked me when i wasn't noticing.

I wasn't the only victim. Every single person at the bustop got attacked as well. My bus never came, and i got damn fucking fed up. There wasn't a single taxi in sight either. Hence i RAN pass the pavement, hoping to stomp any fighting ants dead before it climbs onto me and get opposite the road to flag a cab.

It's over? Not yet. Nobody thought it was a big deal being bitten and attacked by red ants bigger than 1cm. My dad say's it's okay. The taxi driver said they're harmless. You wish! You won't say these if you're the one under attack okay!

Here's some info about the HUGE COLONY of FIRE ANTS:

"A typical fire ant colony produces large mounds in open areas, and feeds mostly on young plants, seeds, and sometimes crickets. Unlike many other ants,fire ants only bite to get a grip and then sting (from the abdomen) and inject a toxic alkaloid venom (piperidine). For humans, this is a painful sting, a sensation similar to what one feels when burned by fire — hence the name fire ant — and the aftereffects of the sting can be deadly to sensitive individuals. The venom is both insecticidal and antibiotic. ..."

i used to love this perfume, untill i bot my 1st perfume, GUCCI's "Envy Me".
it goes in a series of the horoscope. the leo (tat's me) one was pretty good. (:

believe it or not, i bot it at NTUC FairPrice at just $1.50 then. guess it was in primary school? or was it lower secondary. the price tag at NTUC was still the yellow and orh biang one then. lol. a bottle of perfume (nice smelling one summore) selling at $1.50 is really a bargain. u can NEVER find such in the market today. Sasa ones are selling at $10, the common-cheapest that i noe of.

The End of Project Eden.

Did my shift for Project Eden yesterday. Belbel's very nice to pop down and accompany the lonely me for a mo. (: *huggs* I felt so blessed when the hungry me sat on the white swing at Project Eden with Belbel and me eating Chippy's Cheese Sausage with Mashed Potato and enjoying cool green tea. (:

She's telling me about this wierd but jovial Causasian that she met at Project Eden last week. Speak of the devil, we saw him! I guess he's a tourist cum wanderer. He said he's bound for Tokyo but ended up in Singapore by 'accident' and decided to stay for the Singapore Arts Festival. How nice! (: I dunno why, but I felt a pang of sadness behind his smiling eyes. Everybody has a story to tell i guess. We took pics with him! (:

camp was great (: was a GL again. (btw i AM GL. gettit? lol) was fun and tiring. onli slept for 3 hrs over the 3 days. thank god i had ping jie in my grp. but she, ivan and wz all break camp on the second day and left me alone ): cat came on the 2nd day to sorta 'take over' em. sigh. ostrich onli came for the 1st and 2nd day and ciaos. then i had wengu and ben and ppl for company (:

wahhaa. every year we're to bring a piece of unwanted clothing and then the committee will snip it up. a random piece of clothing will be returned to u and u're to transform it into smth u can wear as a costume for the showcase at the end of the camp.

u must be thinking why i'm telling u all this. becos ben got an indentical piece of clothing as i did. well almost identical apart from the size and the name at one of the sleeve. apparently that 2 tops that we have were class tees and that we have 2 of the classmates in NRA. and then we ended up having 2 indentical tees designed in a simlar way, by me. and they cooked up a story saying we have couple tee =.=

poor Yvonne got sick on the first night and me and Luping walked her out to the entrance and flagged her a cab. Sam got sick on the third day as well. Bad weather, no water, no sufficient rest. ): I got sick on the 3rd day too. Tremendous headache. Slept like nobody's business after the workshop. LOL.

sometimes i kinda regreted doing IBP, cos of the monetary reason. come to think of it, i'd have at least $2000 if i did IAP and i cud use it to learn vocals man. sigh.

it's Vesak day, a public holiday and i had to work as part of attachment. did the Singapore Street Festival hosting with Aud. some of the bands were DOPE man! (: we knocked off early cos there were some changes to the hosts and stuff. YAYY! but becos of that i din meet ostrich for supper ):

tat's what i'm facing now.
stupid server doesn't work. ate up the WHOLE folder that i painstakingly uploaded over the weekend. all the HTML arranging that i did over the weekend on Mozilla FF doesn't work on IE.
hence everything's gotta change.

what's the big fucking difference between FF and IE man? such a big diff till all the alignment and stuff that appears to be ok on FF screws up on IE? now i onli have tml morning to camp at galileo to access the server and finish up all the stupid podcast.

this week is HELL for me mans. so will the coming 2 weeks.

Project Eden today was fun! with the crazy and blur adiel. we made a mistake and din give a lady her Crab Shack voucher! Shit mans! But we promised her the next week voucher. Phew. Tsk tsk. Miscommunication between me and Adiel! >.< But it was really fun! Enjoyed it (:

Had dinner with my beloved family at some nearby kopitiam. There's this crispy chicken which is really crispy! u can hear it go "CRUNCH" in ur mouth! Although the meal's nothing of a delicacy but i can feel the blissfulness, esp from my Dad. he loves family meals, although he'll complain the very little money he spent on the food. not as if we're having a sinful feast dad! lol.

althought the weather's pretty warm nowadays, i'll try to experience the heat on my face and breeze in my hair instead of complaining. it's great to feel em, meaning i still have the sense of touch. it's good to see the sun, i'm not blind. i can hear the wind, i'm not deaf. i can walk the many stairs and hills of NP, i'm not crippled. i can smell the oily-canteen smell of SIM and Canteen 1, i still have the sense of smell. i told and reminded myself to cherish and appreciate everything and everybody around me, just in case that i might lose them someday. or maybe they lost me (:

i got sick again. dunno wad happened la. halfway through the movie i got terrible headaches and felt nauseous. although it was 28 Weeks Later that i watched, it is NOT the gorry-ness that got me sick kay. i'm known for my gorry and horror immunity. haa. hence after the movie we din walk around and went home straight. sorry da! spoilt ur shopping plans. we'll make up for it another day kay? (:

anyway i was kinda too tired to go shopping la. had Project Eden today. we gave out manicure and pedicure vouchers! audrey's screaming that she wants. so do i! but we cant take it for our own ): it was fun hosting with u babe! (:

then went to Vivo to meet da. how i noe the bus 80 took so fast to reach. and poor da's having stomach probs hence she'll be late. so i ended up walking around for 1 hr before meeting her. i almost fell asleep waiting on the seats outside bebe! lol.

we had Marche for dinner. the usual Marche stuff, Swiss Rosti, Cream of Mushroom, Chicke Cheese Sausage with Whipped Potato (or was is Mashed?) and ending with a desert, Crepes with Icecream! (: however the Marche at Vivo's much smaller than the one at Heeren, and the system's slightly different as well. They don't use the cardboard cards anymore, they use ez-link sized plastic cards. the stalls were a little different as well. but it's still Marche la (:
